highlander 0
I know and hunt with this pack and the will give a pack of hounds a run for there money. Yes I have dug to his dogs once or twice but he aint a digging man prefers a bolt to gun to get the lurchers a retrieve. You will never get a terrier from that man even when he is dead and buried no amount of money could get one of them. There are a couple of pure sealyams there but the rest are crossed out to russles. highlander 0
MAYBE HIGHLANDER THE QUESTION SHOULD BE IF IT WASNT FOR-------- THERE WOULDNT BE A COUPLE OF STRAIGHT TYPES UP THERE NOW OR A FEW OF THE OUT CROSSES DUCKWING No there wouldnt be its not for the lack of trying . Well as you have seen them run Duckwing and it saddens me to say we dont hunt as regularly as we used to Saturday and Sunday, now we are sometimes only once a month . But we still go out and see foxes and kill a few . He has chilled out alot over the past few years and dosnt take a fit when one is missed these days like he used to. If a fox was missed before you would see the steam rising from the whins and the whirl wind like Taz the Tazmainian devil. Regards highlander. Quote Link to post

Guest THE BEATNICK
double post. forgot to say i cant upload a picture as its not my dog but me and samba had a talk a while ago and think his bitch is off the same litter. theres a few round and def not getting extinct. I know a chap whose brought some pure kc reg ones in from the continent and they work....HARD.... alongside a mink pack. i didnt literally mean extinct mate but when you look at the amount of lakies, russels patts etc the amount of sealys come nowhere near it. surely the reason there are more pats and lakies is that they are and have been for a long time better at their job, and before we all fall out lucas and his lot are long gone and thompsons werent pure bred ang richardsons were the same stuff. john hubery 9
Theres no need for any one to fall out and it would be a shame for this thread to go the way of many others, but in my opinion the reason there arn't the number about is simple because the men that had these cracking little dogs would not let them go just any where, which was not always a good idea as now they have all but died out, but there are pockets still aboutand may be it time some of these lads got themselves together before it is too late Quote Link to post
