J Darcy 5,871 Posted August 21, 2007 Report Share Posted August 21, 2007 great kennels....nice.... but what i will ask, is: Do those sealyhams work to ground single handed? or are they used in a pack? they are run as a pack, and do ground work also. i have never been out with them, but if they didnt work there wouldnt be a home for them, i do know that. eh?...is that possible? surely if they hunted over an occupied burrow they would all be to ground "sir jocelyn" style.....not after an arguement, just curious... Must have some work on for that amount, makes me suspicious, dog breeder? As far as I am aware they are very rare, in fact extinct would be a proper answer, there are some similiar loking terriers about but they are not pure sillyhams. The ones you relate to in the North East, I think these were carried on over in Ireland and are still worked by only a couple of people. I have Seen 4 in the field, 2 were youngsters that were from the Norht East, wasnt much, every man to their own Sean Frain, what are you doing you T*t writing books about gary middleton? Is he your lover? If you want to do any good for the working terrier by all means write a book but pick some one who is a terrierman and not a bull shitter, dog breeder who hasnt worked a terrier for over 30 years and even then, how much work did he do? Baring in mind in the lakes you dont get many foxes with out Hounds and in his era there wasnt many Badgers (it was legal once) and agaon read the articles, rock piles, 2 terriers entered, trapped, rescued and all the make believe,dont believe every thing!
