BenjaminCadd 109
The way i put a new ferret in is by cleaning the whole hutch and run out off all the old bedding etc, then put the ferrets all back in at the same time with some food in there, they all go straight to the food and crack on, never had any problems, unlesss they are in season. The one 8,495
Put them in and there going to have a scrap for top ferret but there going to do that whatever way you mix them as long as there's no blood and gut flying everywhere don't interfere as you will just prolong the scrap it should be over pretty quickly unless you have one mental ferret that doesn't want more company . Stevo ferretboy 20
Alright mate the way I introduced mine was to keep them sepreat for a week or so in a different cage but put the cage in front of the other one so she could see them an smell them then after a week of that started putting bits of the bedding from the new kits bed in the older gills bed to get the sent of the new kits then just let them all out together for a play then putting the new kits back in the cage with the Jill an she was fine she just picket them up by the neck took them in the sleeping area an mother them now they all live together fine Quote Link to post
