big v 0
yes i have tried one they other day it is quiet & smokes like hell and boy dos the smoke stink but dont stick the end to close to the hole as you will get a kick back of flames as the smoke egnights the rats dont come out as fast as normal smokers . as for price £75 then oil at £12 then the gass abit pricey . PBurns 9
What you have there is a Hudson propane fogger for insects. Google it and you may be able to get it for less. Other propane insect foggers are indentical, and the smoke is produced by using food-grade mineral oil as the smoke-generator. These things put out a lot of smoke and that smoke is very easy to direct into a rat hole with a wide flexible corrugated copper pipe wrapped with a bit of cloth and tape so you don't burn your hands. I have tried mine as an insect fogger, but not yet as a rat smoker. I blew smoke through an all-but-clogged french drain with visually impressive results, however. When it gets too warm to dig, I will try it on rats. When used as an insect fogger, this thing should knock down flea or tick problems in the yard too --an added benefit as we head into Summer. Pesty 0
I have one bought it at the norwich show from Arthur Carters field sports and can tell you its ace. I had a problem with a blow back but realised I was blowing down a blind hole, not serious. takes a little getting the hang of but puts the noisy chain saw out of buisness. I to looked into the USA and found it but also found the shipping cost I have been useing a peice of about a meter long plastic alkathean pipe and use it to shoot the smoke down the holes and it makes it better to use.
