Rake aboot 4,936
Tell TV licensing twats that they or anyone from their company are not allowed on your property, and if they or anyone from their company come back, you will report them for harrasment. They have to leave you well alone. Ignore all letters, The only way you can get done for no TV licence is IF YOU ADMIT IT, They have no powers, they can do nothing unless you admit an offence, Shower oh cnuts

Top advice rake
Rake aboot 4,936
No they cant They have no powers at all. If you tell them they are not allowed on your property, they cannot come on it,,they CANNOT enter your house. Therfore can not obtain any evidence for any court order.. Do your homework

If you tell them they are not allowed on your property, they cannot come on it,,they CANNOT enter your house. Therfore can not obtain any evidence for any court order.. Do your homework Funny thing that because before I informed them that I didn't own a tv or any signal receiving equipment, I was given a date to attend a court hearing at which if I couldn't prove satisfactorily that I did not own a tv a court order would be served to search my property for receivers. The licensing inspector who calls to your door has no powers of entry, but there is a good reason their website ends in .gov and that is because they are a government department, not too dissimilar to the dvla, but then I guess they cant really just turn up and take your car for something as silly as not having a tax disc. Give it a try go a year with no license and see just when they start sending the court letters
Rake aboot 4,936
Let me get this right,, You had to go to court to prove you had no telly,,, BEFORE you told them you have no telly !! Hmmmm???? So what promted this court date then,, A Govt fortune teller.? As above,, chase them. And the only way the DVLA can take your car for not having a tax disc, is if you get caught using the car in the first place,, If it is on your property, unused on the road, it doesnt need a tax disc. The might be dot Gov, but they are not above obeying their own laws.
Marvin 193
Court date to attend informed them I had no tv  Govt fortune teller??? No simply the fact a tenanted property without a license is flagged up as such, months of totally ignoring letters and voila court date  Give it a try, I did, that's how come I can say that's what happens
craigyboy 1,274
im sure there was a thread on here not long back about tv licensing and there were quite a few folk saying that they didnt pay it, how would you get away with it im only asking because ive often thought of fecking em off but the wife stresses out about bailiffs knocking ont door

scothunter 12,609
You shower of scamming c**ts lol I've always bought one cause I was under the illusion they knew if the property had one. Malt 379
If it is on your property, unused on the road it doesnt need a tax disc. Oh yes it does Rake, it's illegal to have an untaxed car on a public road. Take it from someone who had a car crushed because of it..
Mooch. 177
Friend of mine has no tv and no tv license. He watches everything over the Internet ie BBCi player, 4OD etc. No receiver needed so no license needed either! If he can't view it on the Internet he doesn't miss it 'cos he didn't know it was on in the first place.

I only live in the next village and my Internet connection is so slow it takes 10 minutes to download a 2 minute YouTube clip!

Government is looking to close that particular loophole, even though only 0.2% of people watch all their TV that way.. http://www.guardian.co.uk/media/2011/oct/31/bbc-tv-licence-fee-extend-to-iplayer
