Scope mounted lightforce 170 switch problem

Was out last night, lamp working fine until about 20mins in switched lamp off then back on no light defo switch, it doesent fully go down in on position, has anybody else had this happen and how do i go about getting this sorted

Yes happened to my lance 140 gun mounted I used to use on the rimfire... switch will have melted, I cut the switch off and its been in the shed since, keep meaning to replace it with a better switch... Happens with the handle switches on the standard lamps too.

Bought that one, then found another one 10amp i think running a 100w bulb caused the failure so bought that aswell, dont bother Deben as they no longer have parts for lightforce they recommend RUAG

Yes sorry mate, a 100w 12v bulb will pull 8.33 amp. Better option were did you buy from.

i have had this i emailed light force and they sent me a new lamp, well ruag did.
