I'm lucky though as I have 5 homes for pups out the litter and the 1 I'm keeping back, so 6 pups will be kept back and the rest culled What you useing Bear? Knowing that a pup has been passed on from the original owner to a very bad home is not a good feeling at all. Better dead than suffering IMO. 1 Quote Link to post

IMO easier said than done, but I do understand why,good permanent homes are hard to find. Our bitch only had 2 pups but we had at least 5 genuine homes lined up.We always try and keep in contact with the new owners and only sell on the understanding that if for any reason they should want to part with the dog, we have it back here. mick01 36 Posted March 14, 2012 Report Share Posted March 14, 2012 personally no i would look to find the pups homes as pets or whatever. i wouldnt be killing any. the saturated market i think comes from things like this.. my ,mate owns a saluki x, purely a pet as it was kicked by previous owner and its hip broken at 16 weeks, he was walking him yesterday when some bell end with a 2 year old whippet said excuse me mate my bitch is due in season would you put your dog over her for me? good job my mate has a brain or you would be finding a litter of saluki/whippet/greys from 13month and 2 year old parents who havent seen a days work, in the for sale section. atb mick Quote Link to post
