The Duncan 802
Actually Paulus' comment was right. Use the force! Believe the birds will fall, and they will, if basic technique has already been practised. When I shoot instinctively and have belief, I seem to do best. Start off the session by just taking the shots you 'know' you will hit. Chalk a miss down to bad luck and put it behind you - that's how we get hit ratios - you miss a certain number, but remember hitting moving targets is not pi55 easy! Oh, and smile, have fun and remember we do this for pleasure as well as pest control! 1 Quote Link to post
peeps_76 17
hi there i had a similar problem to this. what i did was take a handfull of clays with me to the blind, after the first bird came in my mate threw a couple of clays out for me to hit. did this for the first few birds to get few more shots of and get "the eye in" so to speak found it helped. regards Peeps Quote Link to post

Me too. Some days I'm just 'on form', other days, I need a few shots to 'get my eye in' too. Use the force Quote Link to post

Well your stopping and not swinging through. Do as Earth says and fire where its going. Get out infront of the bird and remember if you fire 'at' the bird you've missed it. Also you can go check that your gun fits you and that you are mounting correctly........ Quote Link to post
