first ferret

I now have a ferret its a jill frm last yr i have a 3ft hutch and in the process of making a run. the ferret and the pup are starting to get along now havin milk a ft apart. would i be able to add another ferret even though the jill has been on her own all this time. what finder would you recemend. ta for your help ta tom

Any of the deben finders would do, the MK1's seem to be going for almost as much as the MK3s second hand at the min, quite scary really, but well worth it, if you buy a MK1 get a 15 footer as this would give just as much range as the MK3. Good luck dude :thumbs:

Thanks lads also she hasnt been dne so when should i take her for the jab to bring her out of season and i have her on dry food and once a wk i give her abit of raw when i feed my dogs also she dnt see to drink water cpz the last owner fed her kitten milk is this ok i have been watering it dwn

a vasectomised hob will take your jill out of season if you know anyone with one you could use or a ferret rescue near you might know of one you could use and what kind of nets varys as people have there own preference and budgets theres a topic pinned in this section [above] that will help you out

Also what kind of nets would you suggest

go for 6oz nylon purse nets bud, don't even entertain 4oz ones no matter how cheap they are, you'll spend most of your time trying to untangle them.....proper shite!

so do I bud, spend god knows how many sessions tearing my hair out with those f'ckin things, I couldn't believe how much better the 6oz ones were when I finally discovered them!

 

They shouldn't be allowed to sell 4oz ones IMO, they're virtually unusable!
