killa-combo 142
From what vet showed me on the xray there was a w shape i think he said that was the growth plate on the back leg around the knee area. The break was around half inch above that w shape. The break wasnt a clean snap right through it was wider at one end compared to the other.... If that makes sense lol Quote Link to post

killa-combo 142
Sent xrays off to a vet down country as a second opinion and he said 6week min to let it heal so im pleased i never put her back into the kennel like other vet said would be ok. At the moment i could shovel the dog and bury it, f****n thing just pisis n shits in the cage it will hold it whilst walkin in the garden and soon as its back in its cage it lays a big brown one and tramples it in. Stinkin rat it is Quote Link to post

Giro 2,648
Hope the dog comes good, If its having a few moist turds mabie change the diet ?? More raw meat and bone easier to clean. I have fed varoius mixtures of different meats, carcases with addtional biscuit found my dog had the best shit on raw beef mixed 70/30 with cooked rice. Found when feeding bones the dogs done shits like marbles however they noramally hold them in the run over night but with loads of bone they shat but it is easy to clean. Had a dog cage bound for long periods felt like slippin it a load of blues to keep the fecker calm, must be hard when its a young dog all reved up and wanting to play. You are doing well by it fella, the hard work and effort will pay off in the end. Quote Link to post

Millet 4,497
, im thinkin of starting a 6ft hole in the garden for her ..it's bad enough having a lame pup and all that comes with it..so you can do without getting nagged of the other half..just look on the bright side..you have a good pup that will be ready for the coming season.. . 1 Quote Link to post

Guest born to run1083
With injuries like the one your pup sustained it's all down to the individual dog some come back like it's never happened some are never 100% but the signs your pups showing gives an indication that everything's on the mend and should be fine, also a good sign that pups still bold as some times the mental trauma can be worse then the physical. All the signs look good tho Quote Link to post
