Millet 4,497
For fook's sake mate im gutted for you..as you might already know i have had to have mine to the vet's aswell but that was my pup's fault for being a headbanger..ive never had one with a break that young but i had a dog with a bad break on his hock at 9mth old..he ran spot on for many year's after he healed the was a slight twist to his foot but it made no difference.. Im sure she will heal quick and fine.. ...the only problem you are going to have is keeping her calm for a couple of week's.. Quote Link to post
killa-combo 142
Thanks lads, Just over 15 week rocky so hopefully she should make a good recovery, millet you saying about the break at 9 month and making a full recovery and still too run has put my mind at rest a little, i was worried at first but im trying not to think the worst. Its hard keeping her calm and to top it off she wont pee or poo whilst on the lead so havin to let her in the garden and egnore her to stop her getting exited, keeping my son away from her is the hardest part she gets over exited and starts bouncin off the cage when hes there winding her up lol i havent been on the fourms for a while so didnt hear about yours what hapend she ok? Im pretty certain she will be fine mate.. ..the break my dog done shattered the bone into about 6 small fragment's..it was caused by him turning on a rabbit and he stabbed his foot into the floor which caused a pile drive effect..it was pretty bad to look at the Xray's but like i said he healed fine and was walking ok after around 4wk's.. This pup of my ran into a metal spike which went 2in into her side causing a half golf ball size lump full of puss..she is on antibiotic's now and on the mend. 1 Quote Link to post

johnny boy68 11,726
Thats gutting mate, hopefully she'll make a full recovery for you. You are right mate you can't wrap them up in cotton wool and by the looks of it these pups are flat out all the time, so its not easy trying to hold them back. Quote Link to post
