skycat 6,173
Is simply a sign of submission: pups often do it when given the once over by older dogs. It is nothing to do with fear or a weak bladder as some people think, but just a signal to show that they are not a threat, also coupled with excitement and a full bladder as well. Very submissive dog often roll on their backs as well. And some do it when their owners call them close. Keep things nice and calm around her, don't let any aggressive dogs near her and she will probably grow out of it. If she lacks confidence in other ways you should do confidence building games with her: like tug training. This will help her to interact with you on a more positive level. Does she pee when you call her to you? Squat down and act very submissive? If she does, tug training will really help to get over this. Quote Link to post
