willrockyted 4 Posted March 11, 2012 Report Share Posted March 11, 2012 was out walking the dogs on thursday and my older lurcher hit a barb wire fence cut straight a artery in his front leg blood squirting ever where tied the arm of my jumper around the top of his leg to slow the bleeding while my mate ran to get the truck rushed him to the vets got him all sorted lots of rest now to get him right again . Then yesterday out walking my lab my other lurcher and her 7 month old pup the pups run a rabbit across the field and some how got through the fence straight on to the m6 motorway and got run over i just cant beleave it gutted R.I.P TINK Quote Link to post

You're lucky it didn't cause a pile up on the m6 though, you might have found yourself in some pretty deep water! where abouts did it happen? Quote Link to post
graham4877 1,181 Posted March 11, 2012 Report Share Posted March 11, 2012 f*****g hell mate! bad bad luck! it's a killer when they still pups hard to take! lost my bitch just under 19month last September, got told to move on got a new pup in 2 days later and it was the best thing i did! felt guilty as f**k for two weeks, had thorts of putting the new pup down because of it but , you've just got to get on with it! got 2 pups in now 8+ months and 6 months.. keeping me busy!
