dogs balls 7
Why split them
AlbertJ 569
So that each grouping can initially compete fairly much 'like with like' with the chance of winning a good prize before having the opportunity to compete with novice dogs of different breeding in the final . It also means that people can enjoy something a bit different seeing a good mixed breed final.

Have you raced your dog and if so where and over what distance? Alternatively if straight racing is not for you, it is good that the countrysports Fair at Moira later in the month is doing simulated coursing so that lurcher owners have the opportunity to try both straight racing and simulated coursing. Love to see a photo of your dog AlbertJ

AlbertJ 569
What is her breeding were is she from DB, Lookng through your posts and questions it appears that you aren't really interested in what we are doing at the fairs but just want to criticise our events. Interesting you say you don't go to either Moira or our events! It is also interesting that you appeared to accuse me of having 'Young Man' & ' Flash' as aliases! Interesting also that you suddenly claim to have a bull/greyhound cross and ask what way it would be classified at our events in an apparent attempt to try to criticise our events. As I said I would love to see a photo of this dog! I think it is good the difference between the two events ( Ballywalter & Moira) in that we are doing straight racing and they have simulated coursing. Also we have our events as part of the fair and don't include heavy dogs whereas there's are outside the fair and do. Also the prize structure of the events run by ourselves is usually totally different to that at Moira but as yet we haven't seen what their prize structure is this year. All of this leads to giving people choice - the choice to go to either or both events. We can only put on what we consider the best programme most appropriate to a game fair and giving the terrier, whippet & lurcher fraternity equal status to the other country sports events within our fairs. While I try to answer all people who make a query to me I prefer to have real queries from real people who are interested in participating not hypothetical ones from anonymous 'sideline snipers' .
