Even if you were right (which you're not), and it is a lurcher (which it isn't), it wouldn't be quick enough to catch anything apart from rats anyway....so what would you have then? a lurcher that can't catch anything but rats?....brilliant! 1 Quote Link to post

You're just being a bit nerdy about trying to prove a point that's both incorrect and irrelevant, I was just wondering why, that's all. And regarding its speed, you're not trying to say that a ridgeback x russel is as quick as any of the dogs that the rest of the world call lurchers are you, surely?
