It is a hardy crossbred sighthound that is generally a cross between a sighthound and a working breed, usually a pastoral dog or Terrier.

she is a lurcher sight hound x terrier type

why exactly are you arsed about whether or not it's a lurcher? it is what it is regardless of what people call it. Even if you were right (which you're not), and it is a lurcher (which it isn't), it wouldn't be quick enough to catch anything apart from rats anyway....so what would you have then? a lurcher that can't catch anything but rats?....brilliant!

i am not being rude i am just proving my point, no need to be so hostile in your reply, im just showing evidence that she is a lurcher, and as for her speed you have not seen her work so you can not say how quick she is.

no need for animosity

didn't mean to be hostile, sorry.

You're just being a bit nerdy about trying to prove a point that's both incorrect and irrelevant, I was just wondering why, that's all.

And regarding its speed, you're not trying to say that a ridgeback x russel is as quick as any of the dogs that the rest of the world call lurchers are you, surely?

no she is one of the oddest crosses ever

Rhodesian Ridgeback x parsons jack

dad was ridgeback, she is one of my best workers, she still counts as a sight hound believe it or not

Very irresponsible care of dogs i would say,the jack russell was lucky to survive the whelping :hmm:
