well my hw 100 is faultless and has only ever needed a couple of new seals the gun has been worth every penny, I have owned loads of air riffles and this is the best closely followed by my old rapid17

at least this is an honest statement he could easily bull shitted an said he was putting pellet on pellet at 45 yards so fair play for your honesty.

You know nothing about guns if you wright crap like this

hi Villaman

lighthunter AKA chaz is entitled to his opinion

just like we all thought of skoda, now look at them!!! (STILL CRAP!!)   joking!!!!!!!!!!!!

I my self recently have had problems with my HW100 and my HW97KT,and a few club members have too, where chas & i regularly shoot.

but I am a problem solver now the HW100 is on song again! ( just might take it to the club tomorrow! and whoop chas ass with it)

for his comment! :tongue2::laugh:

but the HW97KT is only putting 8ft/lbs straight out of the box! so as lovely as it is, I shall be taking it back to the RFD and he can send it back to Hull cartridge, and I will have it back at 10.5ft/lb or 11ft/lb.

the thing is all air rifles are subject to wear and tear, but this will not make me loose the faith in any of the several brand air rifles I shoot!

mainly AA/HW

its not in a air rifle manufacturer interest,to make a air rifle which is faultless

Just picked one up today £650 really good condition had a shoot 14 shots with in 2inch !!!! Well pleased :)

At what range ???

20 to 25 yards !!!

hi buddy

I would try a less windy day  or a pellet change

2inch group at that yards is pretty much not good, even for a novice!

sorry if you dont agree? but just telling you my honest opinion

what pellets was you using? hollow points?

2" group :bad: I wouldn't give a rifle that shot that badly house room. At 35 yards my Air Arms s410 would hit a Swan Vesta head. I could get 8 out of 10 most times. I didn't use targets anymore, just a blank sheet, fire a pellet at it, then use that pellet hole as the target and just enlage it a tiny bit. At 40 yards a 5p piece sized group is normal for most air rifles that are matched with a good pellet.

Mine was £650 with scope and bag from a gun shop. Awesome gun. Have had a little problem with it but the shop is seeing me right.

Hi Chaz ,i don't think tom will be going to hft today as his hw 100 is in the menders as well

im another AA LOVER,best rifles ever made

No they're not. They are excellent from a reliability aspect, very accurate too, unless you knock the barrel and set it askew in the stupid barrel band. REALLY GOOD rifles don't need a barrel band becaue they use a proper diameter barrel and a secure breech mounting for it that doesn't require support at the muzzle end. :whistling: In all other aspects they are fine, but knock you barrel and it goes askew you then have to slacken off the barrel band, let the barrel go back to position (even 0.1mm will have your zero off - that means a slight knock against a tree as you duck through the woods) then rezero before you can continue shooting. Mind you don't knock it and all will be well - check the grub screws often though, just to check they haven't worked loose. I wouldn't loctite them, in case of you knock it!

Free floating barrel is the way to go, like BSA, Rapid, Daystate......etc.
