My missus likes to get hold of them to just use the material for making other stuff. You want to get yourself a friend in india, to send some over, they cost pennies there. Then the penny dropped... I hit a bootsale yesterday and nearly bought some fishing gear myself, but nowhere to store it (£15, tackle + seat box, 2 reels, pole + daiwa rod) which was gutting because I know he would have taken £10. But did get 4 big boxes of lindt truffles for £5, the weirdest thing is they are still in date. That got me more than money can buy with the mrs, so I still win. Got a free brass lighter too, just need to add a new flint andprobably replace the wheel jobby and I will flog it for a £5, that's where the big money is
the_stig 6,614
£11 5 art deco picture frames I tried to source some art deco style frames a while ago. Impossible to find any. My fav period best place for art deco and art nouveau are the antique fairs -- or look up a dealer on google they dont come cheap though moll --best path to go is the repro`s .. Moll. 1,770
Yes, i just wanted repro, that style suits this cottage, but trying to find any framers with that style available was impossible....one even asked me what art deco was. Must not be fashionable at the mo.
