Long dead now, but he used to take a while to catch the majority of his rabbits as well, even though he was on em in seconds. Sort of like he wasn't that interested. Hares and deer, different story, caught very quickly once he was on them. I've said about this dog before on here, and dogs certainly do have a preference as to what they really want to catch or not. Perhaps he was like my old dog, rabbits weren't really his thing Quote Link to post
