Magpie 102
No arguments fellas just the very occasional differing of opinion. Mostly folk can see outside of their own kennel block even if it isn't for them. 2 Quote Link to post

FUJI 17,327
I've owned several collie orientated lurchers over the past 30 odd year but all were from Border's and not Beardie's..they all suited the type of lurcherwork which i participated in at the given time..great companions, very loyal and easily trained...i would never be frightened to add Beardie into the mix though, seen several of that cross at work and they could all do the job in hand...i like a dog with Collie blood in it's veins they and i seem to get on just fine...ATB Andy. Think that what he means Aye I read the deleted post lol, I would suggest the real nervy types should be steared clear of when producing lurchers, there is still some rock steady collies out there, beardie and border and I would also suggest its the man behind the dog as well, his/her demeanor and how well he/ she can gel with collie types Quote Link to post
