border lad 1,047
I think Blacknight, Has never seen a good collie x work, as for bad feet, all my collie xs never had bad feet, and my mates never had a problem either, an old friend of mine he had a real good beardie x could do all edible, and he said to me many a time she would lye out on the top of the kennel on all weathers, the only problem my old bitch had was her stoppers, due to hunting of the road, the quarry would some times break to the road, but that would not stop her, a Proper collie x is hard to beat for filling the pot and the freezer, 1 Quote Link to post

Dave N 9
Bunny serial killer 21", this dogs a star lamping superb to watch the brain power and real good ferreting dog marks 100% retrieves the ferrets to hand if they go missing in cover, hard as nails never injured. This wee dog can find game like a spaniel and never stops untill she does, pain in the arse for the first 10 months but when you learn how to work their mind they are superb. She has filled out a bit from them pics carrys a bit more build now. My mate has its half brother 25" good all rounder not as good as my bitch at the ferreting but still good and I dont think its as good at knocking up game but pre ban it does everything on lamp and believe it or not seen it take two jan hares from same slip day time(so did the f*****g game keeper!!) its extra size makes a big difference !! not hare dog by any means but has knocked far more over than expected of him would take them all night on lamp true all round pot filler. Dogs looking good magpie! them pups dont half look like the sire!! Edited March 30, 2012 by Dave N 1 Quote Link to post
