martin 332
What about the gun laws???? As for dumb laws, the yankees in the sewer on the Potomac river (Washington D.C.) came out with the "low flow" toilet to try to force us to save water...I flush one every time I walk past one just out of spite. most stringent in europe you carnt fart without asking for permission in writing first That fortunately is very far from the truth,Germany for one has far more stringent hunting laws than we do and you would have to pass obligatory tests to be able to stalk Deer of any species. In fact even your good old US fo A has more laws(statewise)than we do here,as I understand it over there you can only shoot so many deer inj a season and have to apply for a licence for each, well over here we can just carry on shooting one deer species or another all year round, with no limit on numbers at all,we also shoot any amount of foxes, rabbits, pigeons as we want, and as many game birds as we want as long as we have permission on the land or are paying to on an organised shoot. So we are pretty well off to be truthful,it's just that us of the older generation remember better times,it's all these bleeding nutters going round shooting people that cock it up for everyone, and it is happeneing in your country as well, just not as fast as it has here. foxfan 479
I'll give you the low down on whats happening here, major corporations including and especialy the international banking cartel have merged with government to consildate their monopoly on . . . . .well everything . . . .these organisations make no provision for the well being of people . . .just profits, so they are implementing more and more draconian laws under the guise of anti terrorism and/or austerity. Much the same as your country, only not so bad . . .yet. Their task has been made easier by a populance who are in denial, ignorant, or just plain stupid. Much the same as your country. Other than that everything is just tickedy boo here

R. Docks 154
One of the major differences is that all rights to hunt are held privately in the UK. Firearms are broadly split into two catagories; shotguns and firearms. To own a firearm you have to be able to justify it and prove that you are a suitable person. trooperman 73
Hi mate you can have pretty much what you like here providing you can justify its use,,,,,we can not have semi auto pistols,,,,so i go to a club in gran canaria,,,,its great here, though,,,,we have all sorts of people telling us what we can and can, not, do/have. but we have bent politicians who rob the public purse and say its expenses,,,we have senior police officers that fit people up for an attack they did to them self,,,,police officers that say they did not hit or barge the news paper man,,,,then a video proves he did,,,,then theres the new group called attos brought about by a dishonest government to sort out the benefit system only for the head of it to rob a couple of million for her self. so yes mate you can have what you want providing you bend over and get shafted for an official back hander. paul
morton 5,368
You probably suffer the idiot element over there as much as we do here, obviously we don,t have the same wilderness expanse as our American cousins,in which to practice our sport away from prying eyes and attention. We also have a less expansive quarry species to play with, all in all i think you lads over there have a better shot at carrying on hunting traditions that have spanned generations, centuries of breeding and expertise that, according to the ignorant minority, are no longer legal or justified in sport.
