Fat-Ferret 857
I find clubs unusual....Where I live there is a f****king club for everything, hundreds of them out in yellow vests every night "Running club", theres a gun club, camera club, wildlife club, bird watching club, cycling club, river fishin club, sea fishing club, boat fishing club, gym club, and a camera club as well WHY does anyone feel the need to be in a club for anything, do your own thing, your own way. PINNACLE 2,297
Me too but not as falsh as Romany's. I joined WPS this year and have learnt a lot. No beards but a slightly older lot who are all willing to discuss and help on any photography matters. We have seen some great photos and speakers the best being one last week called Guy Edwards check his web site out as there is a list of clubs he is visiting and if there is one near you it's worth a visit just to see his pictures. There are a few in the club that use point and shoots and get great results one chap won a few weeks ago with a picture of a badger he feeds in his garden. The judge could not figure out how he got it so clear and sharp until he was told it was only 6 ft away Its worth going if only to get away from the mrs one extra night a week. I havnt and won't tell her they don't run through the summer.
