I was just wondering what is the best thing to attract birds down to the ground or into trees would food be the best thing or bird decoys.

get a magpie /crow caller they work mate but a gutted bunny is as good as owt .ive got my own means of bringing them close but cant say sorry

I have tried using an owl decoy but it hasn't been working so I might get some crow or magpie decoys.

Whack a rabbit, slit it but leave the guts in, sling it on top of a thorny bush, something like Hawthorn, and watch them flock to it

one thing corvids are is curious. especialy of there own kind. i'v used a dead crow/magpie or jackdaw to good effect. put it in an obvious easy to see place. rooftop, up a tree, out in the open tit's up wings spread out,, so it is highly visable, this draws em in like flies to shit, then all ya gotta do is shoot em..

What about the pigeons, guys? I tried some decoys (six in the U shape), but they don't seem to work.. All they do they fly low, but never seat.
