Fox attack what ever next

Recommended Posts

In the context of it being a grown man that it happened to it is fairly funny story, especially with phrases like 'tried to escape' being thrown in there.

If it had been a little kid with a lolly or ice cream that it went to snatch the story could have had a more serious ending then some 15 stone fanny getting intimidated by a 20lb animal.

I hope someone sees sense at some point an introduces some sort of cull on urban foxes before something bad happens

At the end of the article "the best thing to use is a water pistol"

Erm...

Nope.

42 grams of SSG shot at 1000 fps is the answer!

Haha, I didnt see that when I first read it. What a pointless bit of advice! As if a member of the public just happens to be carrying a water pistol at all times to fend off possible fox attacks.

This will be ANOTHER " this is out of character for foxes" Barrie Wade keeps a list of these " out of Character" attacks and they are becoming more and more common.

I would tend to agree this sort of episode is becomming more common/and or being reported more, but just the same, the fox is getting cheeky, not agressive, stand your ground or turn on him and he will be gone, and I've never had a fox try and get cheeky and nick my sandwiches when I've been out with a gun!:laugh::thumbs:
