TWOTWOTHREE 152
Just sat down to have a tea break at work and read this, what ever next,it's made me chuckle Atb Quote Link to post
lapin2008 1,587
In the context of it being a grown man that it happened to it is fairly funny story, especially with phrases like 'tried to escape' being thrown in there. If it had been a little kid with a lolly or ice cream that it went to snatch the story could have had a more serious ending then some 15 stone fanny getting intimidated by a 20lb animal. I hope someone sees sense at some point an introduces some sort of cull on urban foxes before something bad happens Edited March 8, 2012 by lapin2008 Quote Link to post
The one 8,477
Aye they don't seem to realize how fearless they are becoming to do something like that as said it could have been a kid Quote Link to post
events co-ordinator 353
This will be ANOTHER " this is out of character for foxes" Barrie Wade keeps a list of these " out of Character" attacks and they are becoming more and more common. Quote Link to post

matt_hooks 188
At the end of the article "the best thing to use is a water pistol" Erm... Nope. 42 grams of SSG shot at 1000 fps is the answer! 1 Quote Link to post

Haha, I didnt see that when I first read it. What a pointless bit of advice! As if a member of the public just happens to be carrying a water pistol at all times to fend off possible fox attacks. I would tend to agree this sort of episode is becomming more common/and or being reported more, but just the same, the fox is getting cheeky, not agressive, stand your ground or turn on him and he will be gone, and I've never had a fox try and get cheeky and nick my sandwiches when I've been out with a gun! Coffee Table 43
A good kick in the face from anything bigger than a size 3 would of seen it running away yelping. What a fanny! Richard Quote Link to post
swamp thang 16
I wonder if that fox was rabid. Dogs lose fear when they have it, or do wierd things like unexpectedly lunge and bite while wagging their tail and grinning. Quote Link to post
