ghillies 209 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share Posted March 8, 2012 i thought the dsame thing about the skirt dents, started picking through and got fed up of chucking then just used them, i was suprised how good tey were even dented, but didnt have any probs with the mag. i'm wandering if the soft skirt shapes up to the barrel as you fire them..cant think why else theyed still be so accurate. analyticalman 4 Posted March 8, 2012 Report Share Posted March 8, 2012 Always used .22 AA fields in my 410. Never had a problem - 1 or 2 in any tin are badly deformed and chucked. I've assumed that the soft skirt is reformed in the barrel by the act of pushing the bolt home when cocking the rifle but thats just a guess Quote Link to post
