Anyone else noticed this?

Hi Fellas,

I recently thought that i would try some Air Arms Diablo Field pellets in .22 after hearing good things from all sides about them. I must say that I am shocked by how many would not go into my magazine (AA 410K) about 150 pellets would not go in at all. I thought it may be the magazine that was the problem but it was the same in both mags and Accupels went in and shot fine.

I don't want to have a pop at Air Arms because I have always had great products from them before so I wasn't expecting this.

I don't know how they passed Czech Quality Control.

In a word yes mate.

For the price they charge, you should expect a lot better quality control.

Head sizes vary quite a bit too.......maybe I had a bad batch or three

dont use them...the skirts are waaaaay too soft, damage too easy and tend to throw more away than I used...... Use H&N FTT or Daystate Rangemaster Li now

Same happened to me, gave up and went Crosman Premier Ultra Magnum in .177 and .22 instead. Not found an unusable pellet yet and it is over 6 months since I changed to the Crosman pellets!

same never had no problems but agree with marksman u do throu a lot away the skirts always bend

tried the rangemasters, had to feed them into the mag with a pencil (tight around the skirts) and could only get 2p groups at 30yds with the 410, what you shooting them through dar? I will bring them up with me and you can have them :thumbs

I have not had a problem with them in 177 either, still on my first tin tho decided to buy some after purchasing a 410k .

I have started using these (.177 in my Hammerli) and the accuracy is outstanding. I didn't bother checking the pellets until now but the skirts are rather random and many are deformed to a small degre and yet it doesn't appear to be affecting accuracy?

Found the skirts on AA fields .22 to soft , now use falcon accuracy plus 13.4 gr or super fields 15.9 in my HW100kt .22

in .177 AA fields I have noticed there poor quality of late,may be we should all send them an email of complaint?

 

So i have gone for the best substitute for my AATX200HC Barrel which is RWS Super field .177 - 8.3gr

 

at the moment I am pellet testing for my HW97KT.22 and so far the best results are H&N FTT 14.66gr - 5.53's,and the test goes on!!
