Once the nets are put away what do you guys do till the next season.

I like fly fishing mostly pitsford and rutland.

Fast bikes

And car booting

And then getting the dog/s fit for the next season .

I have only got into the feretting recently so I have been making nets and a box but I aim to keep myself busy out of season doing my beekeeping. The bees are busy and need inspecting every week during the summer and hopefully a honey harvest in early Autumn but then they settle down for the winter just in time for the ferreting to start. I can also wander down to the River Sullane that runs through our town and fish for the wild brownies on the fly. The aim to keep the family supplied with fruit and veg grown on our land really fills the day. We already have some chickens for eggs and plan to get some day olds to raise for meat birds to home slaughter and fill the freezer.

My friend lost his pest controll job to a big corporation so I will have no falcon to borrow to fly when the hawk is up for moult.

Might have one last session before I pack up and then wait for the season to start!!

All the best Lee
