GRAM71 29
thanks, my mate has a 17 and says its great for long range but the cartridges are to expensive try shooting a swede regular! i wish they were 22p a pop i have a love/hate relationship with my hmr, when it's behaving it's fine but every now and then it'll let go a flyer and that's when i put the fecker away and say "never again". until the next time that is. for an all rounder i'd have to say my 22lrs get a lot of use Quote Link to post
richmcgin 32
seems that most people agree that the 22lr is old faithful alrounder. Gram71 your swede what is it???? been raking me brain and its begining to hurt!!!!!!!!!!. Quote Link to post

Gram71 your swede what is it???? been raking me brain and its begining to hurt!!!!!!!!!!. sorry mate, i don't mean the vegetable, although last time i went shopping they were a fair bit more than 22p each, i meant swedish mauser, more commonly known as a 6.5x55, last lot of factory ammo i bought was a batch of norma at a shocking £1.75 a bang good quality brass though so i'll be reloading that in the future.
