simiddz 0
Hello, Does anyone know where is good for hunting rabbits & wood pigeons in the south lakes area of Cumbria? I'm looking to apply what i've learned down the range to the real thing. Legally of course!! with permission. Quote Link to post
Acuspell 329
You need to get down there and start knocking on doors. It helps if your face is known in the area, so get down and offer to do some work to help out on a farm or two. That way you will get known and meet the right people. After a while you will get a bit of shooting. I believe there is a Northern saying: "you don't get owt for nowt". 1 Quote Link to post

Sound advice might be worth getting some insurance if you have not already got some, just helps to send the right impression. Hopefully you will never need to use it, but good peace of mind just in case. ATB Si Edited March 6, 2012 by 77 si Quote Link to post
simiddz 0
Sounds like good advise, I better get my good Samaritan hat on and introduce myself to the local farmers and extend the hand of good will.... In return for that all important permission to hunt. Quote Link to post
