Hello all,

I have purchased a new tx200hc mk3 .177 and had it chronographed at the weekend. It is producing about 760fps with AA field 4.51. The thing is I'm a bit concerned that it is a little under power for a new rifle, all comments and reviews that I've read have indicated that they should produce a higher out of the box power. Should I be worried and investigate the lack of power or should I be patient and give it some time to bed in??

Also is there anything I can do to improve the power without having to invest in a V mach kit??

That power level will come up. Try to ignore the reading and keep up with the practise.

After a tin or more of pellets, re chrono it and you may even find it's gone over the limit.

When they bed in, they get more efficient and produce more power.

Oh, and welcome to the forum ;)

Duncan.

Ps, vmach kit is barely an improvement over the original airarms kit- they come with synthetic bearings etc anyway.
