Just wondered if for arguments sake you were looking through an NS200 or any other add on and saw a rabbit, and you then used a rangefinder on it, would you see the beam through the Nitesight from the rangefinder. You would be able to direct the beam to the rabbit and get a accurate reading if this was possible.

 

Just a thought, for when i use a .22 sub 12ft/lb

specifically for the NS200 I don't know. But loads of people use them. As you said aim at the target and see the beam then look at the rangefinder. It is also easier if the rangefinder has a red display.
