Summer Job: Vacancy

Recommended Posts

I need an extra pair of hands for the summer from May until around September, mainly pine weevil control. So it would be great but not essential to have your knapsack spraying certificates PA1, PA6. And also must have an up-to-date First Aid at work certificate prior to starting... I can get you on a subsidized course if needed. Would work on a self employed basis, invoicing for the work done regularly. Pay is down to how much you do, but somewhere around £60 - £120 per day is expected.

Would prefer someone with their own vehicle. Cheap accommodation near site, self catering hotel around £50 per week. Based in Argyll, Highlands. Time off during bad weather when spraying cant be done. Maybe short breaks between jobs, but obviously this post would suit someone who is wanting to get into the hills for the summer and earn some cash and work as much as possible.

Must be sensible as using chemicals in sensitive environments. Honest, very hard working as its bloody sweaty, hot, back breaking work on steep terrain carrying heavy knapsack. Not for the faint hearted.

If interested or further questions please PM me.

There is many diffrent types on THL its a great offer of employment and I would jump at the chance if I was jobless.

But I fear your words hard work back breaking will put off alot of THL jobless.

Work gets in the way of hunting there dogs and being on THL site at all other times.

Will be intresting to see if you get any real responses that end up with a jobless THL member.

Well done for putting out there

I know what you mean cookie, but I dont want to make out its easy, or in any way fun because its not. Its shit. Anyway, ive had a few PMs now and just sending details to some members, so hopefully I can get someone from THL the work.

Great news you only have to read a short section if you can hunt you can work thread to see there is a fairly high percentage of fit males claiming benefit on THL who are perfectly capable of work who are doing very little in the way of jobseeking .

As hunting there dogs is higher as we the tax payer makes it possable .

Good luck with your search Cookie
