atrakting fallow deer to a spot

hay lads have a wee bit of fallow stalking in south wales and was wondering

what i coud put out to attrakt the fallow to a specific area

have been told that thay would come for salt liks and thing like that any other sugestions

Ben i would off thought you would be better putting that on the SD website them lads on there will be a mine of usefull information regarding attracting deer to you land especialy if they are already in the vicinity you just need asvice on how to hold them

anny more suggestions welcombe as cant seem to find them esaly on 6,000 acers

Only works if you know what time they are going to be there . Have seen fallow on salt licks on one of my permisions , BUT as soon as its light enough to see they are gone.

attracting them to a certain place is that not taking the fun out of stalking, imo the finding of a target and trying to get close is the best bit.

i do a lot of high seat shooting so it works well for me

I think you would have a bit of difficulty carting one like one of ours
