Rabbithunter 456
I was just thinling earlier today...... That I aint thought about the cost of fuel lately. my business runs a transit van & I personally run a landrover & an estate car. if the motor needs fuel, it needs fuel. And for the employed lads, if its costing you ££ to GOTO work, then do something about it. Any boys that work for me are picked up & droppdd off at their door, and I wouldnt expect Nything more from them.... Those saying it costs tou £40-50 whTever a week, to get to work, the just remember, your boss will be turning over that in 2-4hours from you working. The least they can do is subsidise the travel cost

billy whizz 141
the problem is the wages havent risen for years on end to keep everyone a float i,when i was working for a firm in a shitty warehouse 15 years ago i was on £7.20ph you now look at jobs and they are the same and less?? hence why i set my own business up and took a gamble. its ok taking a low paid job just to be proud ect but end of the day when something bad happens to yer car or need something for the house you just cant do it. collie/grey 238
Without a car i would have no work, the same for alot of us, the government have us! I spend around £ a week getting to work and back and then there's using the car for non related work travels also, it all adds up. It costs me £85-£90 to fill the tank when i remember it costing only £60 a couple years ago!
Nik_B 3,790
Funny how oil peaked at $150 a barrel in 2008 and petrol was 108 a litre yet now it's only $90 a barrel but we're paying 134 a litre!!! It is partly because of hedge funds that look to make money from trading commodities they all jumped on the oil/gas/gold band wagon when the recession started as trading made up crap like sub-prime debt went down the toilet.
SNAP SHOT 194
Crazy the price of fuel atm, The goverment are just dipping their hands in a pot they know they can tax to the hilt, Theres enough reserves to last 2 years without putting the price up instantly once a barrel of oil goes up or down, this is what i cant figure out, greedy fookers.....!!!!
