beast 1,884 Posted March 2, 2012 Report Share Posted March 2, 2012 you could buy a pup bred for ferreting, or you might find a sapling needs bringing on. but if someone tries to sell you a GOOD FERRETING DOG they are a liar. a good ferreting dog takes 2 or 3 seasons to make and will NOT be sold. if the owner has to part with it then it will go friends or family for free. dont let anyone rip you off 1 Link to post Share on other sites

They are Whippet x Lakeland/Beddlington. They will make good little workers but are also good house pets as well, one pup in particular is very much a 'one man and his dog' type.
