moxy 617
If you fold and wrap the draw cord around them thats enough, good practice, never have any problems How many socks do you carry with you??? Quote Link to post
tegater 789
Yep same as moxy, just wrap the draw cord around them tight and place them back in the net bag, pocket. I dont bother with elastic bands or socks etc 2 Quote Link to post
Ideation 8,216
Best way i have found bar none is to use platic tent pegs with a hook on them (at the top), just wrap the coard around it, then hok the hook into the cord, to hold it tight and you can chuck em about and they never un tangle. Country Joe 1,411
Simple is the best method, wrap them up in your hand and wrap the draw cord round, as most have suggested, You dont need pegs, socks, or elastic bands, its a piece of cake. Quote Link to post

When you pick them of a burrow finger in the end ring a quick shake to knock any crap out the net wrap it round your hand then wrap the drawcord round the net , put it into the net bag and on to the next one ,and there ready for you to use the next time . The charity shops must love you do they keep all there socks for you ?. if your netting a big burrow there must be a pile of old socks like a load of washing sitting at the side . You dont need gimics like socks ,elastic bands keep it simple 1 Quote Link to post

whippeter69 88
Way i do it is to fold the net twice, wrap the draw cord around the next until you have about 30cm of draw cord the place a thumb over where the draw cord is on the net, wrap the remaining cord over you're thumb, around once then push the peg where you're thumb is and take you're thumb out. The all you have to do it twist the peg and the draw cord gets tighter, this is the bets way and hold the net together with no problem. Quote Link to post

Mick C. 229
If you use steel pegs and nylon nets tangles are inevitable in transit. Personally i use wooden pegs on all my nets and fold them the same as the other lads Never had a problem Quote Link to post
Lee C 55
I like to put my finger in the end ring and give these a good few twists around then fold it down in half the net then springs tight fold again then wrap the cord around and your done. To un do unwrap the cord hold the top ring, the net spins round and un does it's self. Hay presto job done. ATB Lee Quote Link to post
