DVlA clamped car

Recommended Posts

Even if I was going to lose money I'd still fight it. The last time I got shafted was by a motorbike copper who did me for having no seatbelt.

To be fair I was actually in the process of putting it on and didn't see him , I was taking the dog out and was in a rush.

I could have said nothing and then challenged it because it was his word against mine but as a law abiding person I signed the form he gave me which no doubt accepted my guilt. Funny how only the good people get shafted like this so I promised next time I deal with the police I will say absolutely nothing. They can do as they wish and I will challenge in court.

You're right because they come down hard on the people they can scare and avoid challenging the hardened criminals.

The justice system is only a deterrent to law abiding people, the real criminals couldn't give 2 sh*ts about it!

I don't say anything anymore... They say anything you say may be used against you, so I don't give them anything.

I didn't know that in most cases, they give you a caution because they won't secure a conviction. I also didn't know that accepting a caution is accepting guilt.

Complete arseholes in my experience, half of them haven't got the first clue about the law and when challenged, go red in the face and sound like a broken record, spieling off the generic crap they get taught.

Having said that, I think the 'us and them' culture means its very rare that a policy enforcement officer (policeman), traffic warden etc etc will ever cut you any slack.

If it was the DVLA that clamped it, then it wasn`t for parking, was it?. More likely Non payment of RFL, or no insurance,,

In which case,, why the f**k should I pay for mine while they expect to get off with it, and as for no insurance,, after some twat smashes your car up after hitting it in an uninsured motor, I`m sure you`d rather they just impounded the car and crushed the f*****g thing,

Watched DVlA turn up today ,clamped the car across the road .10 mins later watched the family come out and cut the clamp off.wtf

If it was DVLA then car that got clamped had no tax and probably no insurance or MOT either and there's a good chance the owner didn't have a driving licence and/or hadn't passed his/her test as well. I just hope it's your car or your kids that one of these arseholes ploughs into and not mine.

No need to cut them off, simply jack up motor, using a shallow socket on a ratchet, remove wheel, deflate tyre and pull clamp off, hang on nearest fence and refit wheel accordingly! Watched a sausage roll do this one day out the side of the work, thought it was pretty inventive.

I believe there's a little bit more to it than just removing the wheel but that's the gist of it, there is or was an online video of it being done somewhere.

Really? Some of the posters on here are cheering on these tossers who have no business being on the road, like I said, I hope its them who suffers from these unlicenced and uninsured drivers and not me.
