tegater 789
I usually put out 4-5 decoys, and think about where you set them up with relation to where they normally feed and wind etc. I then add to the pattern as I kill more. I always keep a freshly shot one in the hide to launch into the air if I get a percher a few hundred yards away, or a passing crow that hasnt seen the decoys. It brings them in a treat. I have even used my black wooly hat to the same effect. 6,s will be fine, but I often use 5,s on crows, but that is just my preference. Get there at first light if you can as they are very early risers and I shoot the majority within the first hour or so of dawn. Atb. Quote Link to post

They are too small to always shoot sitting down.lol. 1 Quote Link to post

I put it down to knowing that you don't need a 12 bore with heavy carts, for 90% of the things I shoot, and I can kill just as far! Quote Link to post
