rob190364 2,594
I have it from a very reliable source who's tried it that there's definitely something in it. Even so, I'd have to see it for myself I think!

Simonrees 45
Used to do it as a kid, imagine 9 teenagers (girls & boys) slightly drunk doing this in an old cemetery at night on Halloween. Each of us had a finger on a glass placed in the center of a circle of letters. One of the girls asked the question "Are there any spirits there?" The glass began to move, firstly to the letter D then the letter E then A then T then H, by this point we were screaming like a bunch of girls and running as fast as we could. Unfortunately it was decided someone had to go back and smash the glass to break the OMEN!! That person was me.......Never dabbled in the Occult since!!

Ratreeper 441
It is total bollocks mate, I think it is called 'automatism' where you move, but you aren't conciously aware. You can test it on your mates, tell them a story about an old lady 'wendy' who died last week and try to contact her. I guarantee they will spell the name 'Wendy' when prompted, but swear on their lives they didn't move it.

PlasticJock 539
I wouldn't allow anyone to bring one into the house, never mind do one myself! Whether these things are 'real' or not, reality is created in your mind so the last thing you want is to feck yourself up... Interestingly a lot of magic practitioners claim that summonings etc aren't physically real, but rather figments of your imagination, literally. Which in their opinion, makes it all the more dangerous. Anything I don't understand I tend to steer clear of, I'm sure most on here whether 'believers' or not have had strange experiences...
