To find my husband has got another ferret ,thin as a rake,covered in ticks & fully in season,some bloke rang & said he found it trying to get in with his rabbit :whistle:

 

Oh well just one more for me to look after considering he is allergic to them he has a cheek

My missus says she is allergic to ferrets too.

 

She handled one the other week and she said afterwards her hand came out in a rash, i didnt see her hand, but find it a bit wierd.

 

Any truth in this ?

In this case yes n but i know a few people who only suffer breathing probs & rashes when handling entire hobs this time of year

Well i checked my local lost found ferrets lists & no one seemsto have reported her missing,she is very thin & a bit quiet this morning, she has eaten & i am keepingmy fingers crossed she will gain weight & be ok, i have a vets trip for friday planned anyway so will take her as well

I cant believe how this jills picking up yesterday she weighed 587 gramms & today she weighs 653 gramms

 

She has been eating raw mince & she loves it

She is very pretty , i must admit she is growing on me,she has masses of tiny ticks on her ears and hasnt as much as turned her head while i have been putting vasoline on them,there all over the backs of her ears as well, poor little thing

 

I think she will be ok now,she as picked up & even had a little play in her cage

Just an update on Rita the little jill wo found her way here on Monday,she has gained 118 gramms since then is a lot more allert & lively, so i think she will be ok now
