Theres shafts 10 miles long or more in and around 'Druth Cheers, D i dont understand what you lot are talking about. but yes most foxes i have seen dig really deep. but i have also seen mr fox only 6 foot down. not all holes are 10/15 foot. mock me if you like, but i have seen all sorts of holes under big tree embedded in banks.And yes i have 3 terriers patterdale. and 2 jrts all workers and looking to start some coursing. this is why i want a lurcher. billybaltic 308 Posted March 2, 2012 Report Share Posted March 2, 2012 Tell me more about the hole under the tree, could you feel warm,th coming from it and damp around the entrance, because it is probably beaver, be very careful some of them can give a nasty bite, make sure you smell it first.
