Hmr Hunter 2
Petty stoked. Had a call off Gwent today to say that they had received my letter and decided to open up my ticket for me. This is the 2nd letter I have written, had my ticket about 28 months, have 22 Rimmie, 17 HMR and 223 on it, hoping it all gets opened! Straight away means 2 more farms now open to me, well happy! Hmr Hunter 2
Hey Tea Pot I think every area AND every case is different. I have heard of some guys having theirs open straight away! I have mates whose were opened up after a year, I was promised mine after a year but then refused after 18 months LOL, It's a right lottery mate, my advice is to write a letter every 6 months, that's what I did. venomviper 129
also buddy i know a few people that i shoot with that if the land has been passed upto say a 243 or even a 22lr and you have permission for that land then you can shoot on it just phone your officer up and ask him to check the land to see if it has and if so then tell him you have shooting rights on it and can you take your gun on there i found this out and its true just speak to them as long as the land is passed you can shoot your rimfire on it depending what it is cleared for or upto speak to then and find out buddy all the best shay Quote Link to post
Elmer Fudd 2011 39
whats the diff from closed to open ?? sorry but just dont know Quote Link to post
Simonrees 45
whats the diff from closed to open ?? sorry but just dont know A closed ticket means you can only shoot on land where you have permission and where that land has been cleared by the FEO as suitable for various calibers. With an open ticket you can shoot on any land where you have permission but it doesn't have to be cleared by the FEO. this means that you are trusted to make a judgment yourself as to its suitability to discharge a firearm. Unless the FLO tell you different, or decide , the cal you shoot is not suitable, on the land . Although you have a 'open' Quote Link to post
