amazing shot...

Recommended Posts

hey everybody :) me and my mate went shooting other day an the most amazing thing happened. he was in front an i saw a grey squirrel run up a tree to our left atv around 20yards. got the gun shouldered an ready saw the squirrel thru a gap an followed him in the scope. he sat stil and i steady'd up just to the right of his eye (he was facing to the left, side on) breathed out and squeezed the trigger... didnt know if my mate was ready or could see the bugger. anyway heard a bang louder than usual, the squirrel fell straight down and my mate started pissing his self. turns out we shot at near enuf exactly the same time!! hes got hw35 in .22 using super h point an i got bsa lightning xl .177 with air arms diabolo field. we inspected the squirrel an there was 1 massive hole next to its eye. truly amazing. we tried the same thing a few years ago by counting down 1.2.3 but this time it just came naturally. truly amazing if i do say so myself. snipers work in pairs is all i can say!

So great when it happens!

Had similar last summer, mopping upsome myxi'd rabbits, Chris and I put a pellet thru the same bunny's cranium from different sides of the same hedge. We had line of sight of each other, so knew it was safe.

Awesome! The pellets criss-crossed thru its brain box.
