patterdalejoel 669
rhodeisland reds , i have a half a dozen , an when there laying i get 50+ eggs a week . . . . You sure ? 6 hens laying every day would only give you 42 eggs . i am 100% sure i bought them point of lay last year an i were getting 50+ eggs each week last summer . . . . its a load of bulloks that 1 hen can only lay 1 egg a day i assure you . . . i can assure you that that is 100% bullshit it has never been proven even in hybrid laying trials and a hen is physically not capable of doing that, especially a rhode island red, a leghorn i MAY believe... even artifical lighting wouldnt help a hen cant lay 2 eggs a day FACT.
