just put in an amount, see how much they eat and judge how much to give them if they have left some, or add a slight amount if they have ate it all?

i put a small cat bowl (one of those really small plastic ones) level full if i have to ... but i prefer giving them meat.

I feed mine daily and give them about 1 handful each. If i put in a full bowl they just eat all of it then s**t like mad for a few days!

When I have to use dry, I use a hamster water dish someone gave me, one dish per six ferrets, if they put weight on, lower the amount dry in the bowl
