Mez 11
I dont like them. I dont like how the wings are carried, i dont like the stags tail, i dont like how much feathering he has, or how long his hangers and sickles are. The hen/pullets tail isnt right - pointing upwards, dosnt seem to have its thirds...does nobody else see this apart from Tuzo???

Mez 11
Yes, each to their own - but they should still comply with the standard. My birds arent the best, but theyre at least fitting the standard. Have a look at some of Tuzos birds - thats what you should be aiming for, or photos of Ko Shamo in Japan..on the forum Tuzo has posted some photos recently, have a look at em.
Mez 11
Here is a pullet and the head of my older hen...eyes could be lighter in the hen, but i think the pullets eyes are lightning all the time..need to put her to a stag with good shoulders!

Mez 11
They are, and mine are nowhere near as good as Tuzos or examples in Japan - but i am a firm believe of culling birds that dont fit - maybe good quality Kos are hard to come across because more people breed and keep bad quality ones, rather than culling the worse ones and breeding from their better ones..if that makes sense!
