PoCk0 40
Hi everyone, For the past few days my male harris has been panting (almost all the time), not eating as much and has had diarrhoea. Today he isn't eating at all and tend's to just sit panting or sit in the corner of his avery. He's gone down to 1lb 8oz which is nearly the lowest i've ever had him. After ringing the vet they suggested worming him (which i've now done) and hopefully this will improve his condition. If the wormer makes no difference then i'll be taking him to the vets ASAP. Anyone else had similiar problems before?? Any advice?? Thanks Quote Link to post

CityHunter.uK 12
could be gape worm if he is opening and closing his mouth as if panting all the time. Advice about going straight to the vet is good advice as birds dont show illness until its pretty drastuc as ub the wild they would make themselves targets if they showed illness eaisly Quote Link to post
