Just curious; what is anyone paying for a factory round that they are satisfied with, in terms of accuracy and performance?

From memory my mate is paying around £24 a pk

Tried em in 40 and 55 grain on foxes and cant really fault em!

Gotta be worth looking at Privi Partizan tho they are half that price!

i use privy partizan .222 ammo,50grain and bought some the other day, they cost £13 a box of 20, so should be around the same price for .223, as there's not alot of difference between the two calibres,

i find this pretty good,

the fedral Hi shok are very good but over 20 quid and the v shok are good but 32 quid.

For field work I get by fine on PRVI 55g SP, they work for me and come in at just under £50 per 100.

 

They have gone up a LOT in the last couple of years though (like all the others).

haven't got a 223 but my swede likes norma 156gr alaskans, i can make nice little cloverleaf groups at 150ish yds they are a bit on the pricey side though, £35 a box, but i'd rather have 1 accurate shot than 2 or 3 that were just round about the target. cheaper in the long run.
