Anyone know a decent vet in hampshire

Recommended Posts

My bitch has a tendon injury resulting in her being flat footed on one hind leg,the vet has given her anti inflammatory medicine for months and it does nothing. I have asked if there is an op. that might put her right but she says no. My boy had to have a tendon lengthened as a kid so why not my dog i ask.

She is not interested and tells me that i have a lovely pet and it was my fault that the injury occured in the first place, chasing rabbits at night.

Ive tried the local dog track without success, does anyone know a good vet local to hampshire,i dont care how much it costs, i just want to know once and for all can it be fixed.

You should have explained to her that it's "instinctive behaviour" and she should know that long term use of nsaid's is not a good idea.

Not sure about the op mate, but id keep your dog away from the vet your using at the mo,she sounds like a total kwak :censored: .I'm sure there must be another form of treatment for her.Fortunately the vet i use understand's what the term "working dog" mean's.Her father worked for his local hunt, and my terrier's and lurcher's have alway's had the best of treatment from her.All the best, hope you get your bitch sorted,Bill

Ye've got the Portsmouth Track and Kennels, Target Rd, Tipnor. Then there's the 'Brighton' Kennels. For the life of me, I couldn't say where they were as I simply never noticed a sign! But, if ye locate Henfield on the map, then find Partridge Green, that'll be the right direction. We always passed the sign for Partridge Green on the way when we came out of Henfield. Or ask Directory Enquiries.

Best of luck, mate. Ye vet sounds like a right c*nt. Anti, obviously.
